Some Good Numbers

Hi, blog.  It's been awhile.  I'm just popping in with some measurements.

I decided on January 21st that I was going to take my body measurements, and then not do it again until February 21st.  

The results are in, and I'm happy!


In the past month I've lost 6 pounds and 7.5 inches from my body!  The inches are what really excite me, and I highly recommend measuring yourself if you are losing weight.  Sometimes the scale may not seem to move much, but the inches really give you an idea of how far you've come.

Oh, that pesky scale.  Sometimes it only seems to move a pound.  Which sucks.  But then, no not really, because take a look at this:


Yeah.  That's a pound of fat.  A couple of handfuls of the nasty stuff.  And that's from only one pound!  Now, just to see how much I've lost this month, I'm going to add that to this:


So I'm even happier.  :)

    i don't measure ever (maybe after the baby though :)
    i get on the scale once or twice a week...i did before i was pregnant too. i'm looking forward to start running again a month and a half or two months after baby girl's arrival. i wish you tons of luck. those fat photos are incredible...one pound IS a lot more than we realize! you look fabulous, gf. have a great day!
