Why not? Festivify that Manila Envelope!

'Tis the season!

I absolutely LOVE Christmas.  EVERYTHING about this time of the year makes me happy.  Baking cookies.  Wrapping presents.  Watching ALL of the Christmas movies on ABC Family's 25 days of Christmas.  OH YEAH.

What makes me happy (and every other year) a little sad about Christmas time is being with family.  You see, my brother Mike lives in Nashville, TN and his wife, Megan, is from North Carolina.  So they split up the winter holidays.  On Thanksgiving they'll either go to North Carolina or come to Missouri, and then hit the other one up for Christmas.  Well, since we got to see them and Zane on Thanksgiving this year, it means we won't get to see them for Christmas.

Sad, but I understand.  I'm just glad that Jake's family is only about 40 minutes from my family, so we can spend every holiday with them -- although it be a little hectic!  ;)

Anyway.  On to making that envelope festive!

Everything we got Mike's family for Christmas fit in a large bubbly manila envelope.  (Yay for saving on postage!)  But how BORING.

So Logan and I popped over to our favorite store, Target.  ;)  We bought some elf stickers for a couple of bucks, and then decided that they should deliver the season's greetings for us.  This was the fun part... I could only think of a few things for them to say, so Logan did the rest.  See for yourself!

Here it is in all it's glory.  HA!  Hey, I never said it looked spectacular.  It's spectacular because it's FUN.

Logan?  What should this one say?

And this one?

:)

Zuko is their doberman.  Merry Christmas to him, too!

So this, and the trip to the post office, is how I entertained Logan .  By the way -- want a mesmerized 3 year old?  Take him/her to the post office.  I think it may be better than the zoo.
